My Lord, Jesus Christ, God and true Man, my Creator, Father and Redeemer, because you are who you are and because I love you above all things, I am heartily sorry for having offended you; I firmly propose never to sin again, away from all occasions of offending you, confess and fulfill the penance that was imposed on me. I offer, Lord, my life, works and labors, in satisfaction of all my sins, and, just as I beg, I trust in your goodness and infinite mercy, that you will forgive them, by the merits of your most precious blood, passion and death, and you will give me grace to amend myself, and persevere in your holy love and service, until the end of my life.
