Synopsis: It narrates the life of San Felipe Neri, a priest born in Florence in the year 1515 and who lived more than 60 years in Rome. At the time of the Counter-Reformation, San Felipe trained young people and children, bringing them closer to the liturgy. His goal was to get them to have fun singing and playing in the place that in the future would become the Oratory, approved as a congregation by Pope Gregory XXIII. Someone asked him one day if he wanted to be made a cardinal, and he replied “I prefer paradise”, hence the title of the film.
