CHRISTIANNEWS.COM.- The author Jeff Kinley wrote a book with Mark Hitchcock about the global agenda that seeks to “reset” the world, reports CBNNews.
The book “Global Reset: Do Current Events Point to the Antichrist and His World Empire?” talks about the relationship of current events with the biblical prophecies of the end times.
The book reports on how current situations such as the pandemic, social disputes and natural disasters point to what is to come: A world economy, a global government and the control that the antichrist will exercise.
Jeff Kinley stated that the world is not working properly, since it is consuming too much energy; this is the motivation of some who want to reboot the planet and replace capitalism with socialism.
Kinley discussed how the COVID-19 pandemic seemed to be a rallying cry for those sympathizing with or pushing for this “reset.”since it was a global crisis that involved almost all governments.
Secondly, the author stated that the world is dominated by Satan and used the verse Matthew 4 and Luke 4 to justify his opinion.
When Satan offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world in Matthew 4 and Luke 4, it is interesting that Christ did not deny that Satan had the opportunity or the authority to do so,” Kinley said. “Satan is in control of these kingdoms of the world right now.”
The author believes that this power will one day go to the antichrist, who will essentially “control everything that happens in the world.”
