Novena of Divine Mercy
Novena to Saint Faustina Kowalska
FIRST DAY
“Today bring all of humanity to me, especially all sinners, and immerse them in the immensity of my Mercy. In this way you will console me for the bitter sadness in which the loss of souls plunges me.”
Most Merciful Jesus, whose natural inclination is to have compassion on us and forgive us, do not look at our sins, but at the trust we place in your infinite Goodness. Welcome us into the abode of your Most Merciful Heart and never allow us to leave It. We ask this for the love that unites you to the Father and the Holy Spirit.
Eternal Father, turn your merciful gaze towards all Humanity and especially towards poor sinners, enclosing them in the Most Merciful Heart of Jesus and, through the merits of his painful Passion, show us your Mercy, so that we may praise the omnipotence of your Mercy, for the centuries of the centuries. Amen.
Next, pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy
SECOND DAY
“Today bring me the souls of priests and religious and immerse them in my Unfathomable Mercy. It was they who gave me the strength to endure the bitterness of my Passion. Through them, as through channels, my Mercy flows towards Humanity “.
Most merciful Jesus, from whom all good proceeds, multiply your graces on the souls consecrated to your service, so that they can do works worthy of mercy; and may all who see them glorify the Father of Mercy who is in Heaven.
Eternal Father, look with mercy on the chosen group of your Vineyard, the souls of the priests and religious, endow them with the strength of your Blessings and for the love of the Heart of your Son, to which they are united, grant them the power of your Light, so that they can guide others along the path of Salvation and with one voice sing praises to your Mercy, for ever and ever. Amen.
Next, pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy
THIRD DAY
“Today bring me all the devout and faithful souls and immerse them in the great ocean of my Mercy. They comforted me throughout the Way of the Cross and were a drop of consolation in the midst of a sea of bitterness.”
Most Merciful Jesus, who from the treasure of your Mercy, distributes your graces in abundance among each and every one of us. Welcome us into the bosom of your very compassionate Heart and never allow us to leave It. We implore this grace by virtue of the most exalted love; the one with whom your Heart burns for the Heavenly Father.
Eternal Father, turn your merciful eyes towards the faithful souls, who keep the legacy of Your Son. And for the merits and sorrows of his Passion, grant them your blessing and keep them always under your tutelage. May his love never give in or lose the treasure of our holy Faith, but rather, with the entire army of Angels and Saints, glorify your infinite Mercy, forever and ever. Amen.
Next, pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy
FOURTH DAY
“Today bring me those who do not believe in Me and those who still do not know Me. I thought of them during the anguish of my Passion, and their future fervor served as consolation to my Heart. Immerse them in the immensity of my Mercy”.
Most Merciful Jesus, You who are the Light of the human race, receive in the abode of your Heart full of compassion, the souls of those who still do not believe in You, or who do not know You. May the rays of your Grace illuminate them so that, together with us, they may praise your marvelous Mercy; and do not let them leave the abode of your Heart overflowing with mercy.
Eternal Father, turn your pious gaze towards the souls of those who do not believe in your Son, and towards those who do not yet know you, but who are present in the very compassionate Heart of Jesus. Approach them in the light of the Gospel. These souls are unaware of the great happiness that it is to love you. Grant that they too extol the generosity of your Mercy, for ever and ever. Amen.

FIFTH DAY
“Today bring me the souls of our separated brothers and immerse them in the Immensity of my Mercy. They, during the anguish of my Passion, tore my Body and my Heart, that is, my Church. As they rejoin her, my Wounds heal, and in this way they serve as a balm for my Passion”.
Most Merciful Jesus, who are Goodness itself, do not deny the Light to those who seek you. He receives in the bosom of your Heart, overflowing with mercy, the souls of our separated brothers. Guide them, with the help of your Light, towards the unity of the Church, and do not let them go from the abode of your very compassionate Heart, which is all love; let them also come to glorify the generosity of your Mercy.
Eternal Father, turn your merciful gaze towards the souls of our separated brothers, especially towards the souls of those who have wasted your blessings and abused your graces by obstinately staying in error. They too are welcomed into the merciful Heart of Jesus; do not look at his mistakes but at the Love of your Son and the pains that for his benefit he suffered and accepted for them during his Passion and make them also glorify your great Mercy for ever and ever. Amen.

I pour over them a torrent of graces because only the humble soul is capable of receiving my Grace. It is to the humble souls that I grant my Confidence”.
Most Merciful Jesus, who said: “Learn from Me, for I am meek and humble of Heart”. Receive in the bosom of your Heart overflowing with mercy, all the meek and humble souls, and those of little children. These souls are the delight of the celestial regions and the favorites of the Eternal Father, who very particularly recreates himself in them. They are like a bouquet of little flowers that give off their perfume before the throne of God and God himself is intoxicated with their fragrance. They find perennial shelter in your Most Merciful Heart, oh, Jesus, and incessantly sing hymns of love and glory.
Eternal Father, turn your gaze full of Mercy towards the meek souls, towards the humble souls and towards the souls of little children curled up in the bosom of the Heart of Jesus overflowing with mercy.
