Novena to Saint Lucia

Objective of the Novena (from December 5 to 13):

During these days let us ask Saint Lucia to allow us to enjoy a perfect vision, physically and spiritually, and provide us with the light to see clearly what we should do, say and avoid.

in concrete terms:

– You will receive the Novena to Saint Lucia so that through her intercession you enjoy good health and protect you from eye diseases.

– You will learn about the history and devotion to Saint Lucia, known as the Protector of the Sense of Sight.

– You will present your intentions and needs to St. Lucia so that through his intercession we can obtain what is convenient for our life and the Glory of God.

Let us reflect on what the celebration of the feast of Saint Lucia close to the Advent season means: her name is associated with the triumph of Light; Saint Lucia announces the arrival of the true light, the victory over darkness, the birth of Jesus!

Saint Lucia intercedes for us so that we live Advent in a much more intense and hopeful way!
