Pastor criticizes Christian singers who duet with secular singers

.- Pastor Samuel Gonçalves, president of the Assemblies of God Ministry Church of Madureira, Brazil, in the city of Cabo Frio (RJ), made a publication that is making people talk on the web.

The religious leader gave his opinion on Christian singers participating with secular singers. After some questions on the subject, the pastor decided to express his position.

Gonçalves is totally against this increasingly trivial practice among evangelical artists. In response, he used 2 Corinthians 6 and 14 which says:

“What society has justice with injustice and what communion has light with darkness.” Then he added the text of Revelation 22: 11 «Whoever is unjust, be still unjust; and whoever is unclean, he is still unclean; and he who is fair, practice justice still; and he who is holy, sanctify himself still».

It should be noted that this issue has already generated a lot of controversy this year after Christian singer Fernandinho criticized evangelical singers.

At the time, Isadora Pompeo had just recorded a performance with country artist Luan Santana and Ton Carfi with funk artist MC Jottapê.

In addition to them, many other Christian artists recorded songs with secular artists this year alone, a partnership that has grown in the record market, generating opinions and likes in the music industry. An example of this this year was Jesús Adrián Romero who released Luna y Marea in a video clip, where he duets with secular singer Kurt.
