Pastor denounces apostasy: “The houses of the pastors are mansions, the churches are rags”

CHRISTIANNOTICE.COM.- A self-criticism made by a Pentecostal evangelical pastor and leader says that, among pastors, there is a practice that is not consistent with the mission of the Body of Christ.

Pastor Jecer Goes Ferreira, president of the Ministry of the Assemblies of God in Canaan, made an outburst and the video circulates on social networks, reports Gospel News.

According to Ferreira, many pastors in leadership positions in evangelical churches, especially the Assembly of God, live a life of luxury to the detriment of the growth of the work.

“I have a criticism of the Assembly of God in Brazil. The houses of the Brazilian pastors of the Assembly of God are mansions. The church, a rag. ‘Let my kingdom grow, the kingdom of God will end,’” the pastor began.

Ferreira also stated that this petty view has resulted in neglect, and the effects of secular influence are already beginning to affect the evangelical community itself:

“Today we are suffering the consequences of apostasy, because God gave us this nation in our hands and we try to enrich ourselves. First, us, and ‘cursed be the Kingdom’. The best homes in this country belong to shepherds,” he added.

Finally, he pointed out that: «The church, a piece of wood, made of wood. And now we’re losing to the devil. We do not have universities, we do not have schools for children, our children are learning what is not good in class”, he concluded.
