CHRISTIANNEWS.COM.- The media have given coverage to a 53-year-old pastor named Gustavo de la Borda Elías, who attributes the gift of healing and who through the Holy Spirit makes people make involuntary bodily manifestations, such as if it were electrical currents.
According to H9, the pastor is moving masses in Peru and his followers consider him a saint.
Just using his breath, words and hands he has managed to move people until they lose control of themselves.
On a television program, the pastor with a prayer made several participants turn and cry involuntarily.
“In first Corinthians verse 12 it talks about spiritual gifts and how they are manifested. God gives these gifts to people who serve and work for him. With these gifts he gives the ability to heal the sick and free people ”, explains the pastor.
In an interview with channel H9, Gustavo assured that when he sends energy from the Holy Spirit to the faithful, they feel a strong electric current flowing through their hands. In addition, he claims that when he blows on people he feels a heat flowing from his mouth.
Gustavo attested that his act is real and there is nothing fake, and explained that if it were not true “people would not lose control the way they do.”
The ministry of this pastor has spread throughout Colombia, Argentina, and Venezuela, and according to his testimony, he has cured tumors, spinal cords, and various ailments.
However, even within the Christian community, these “powers” are questioned, and they label these acts and those who claim to have them as false.
