.- On Monday, October 4, Pastor Eleazar Varela lost his life in a car accident on the Prados del Este highway, in Caracas, Venezuela.
The accident left three injured, among them, the pastor’s daughter whose state of health is delicate.
The accident occurred at the height of Los Ocumitos, according to journalist Yohan Pimentel.
Some users indicated that three cars were involved in the car accident. Pastor Eleazar’s wife was also with the pastor when the crash occurred, however, she emerged unharmed from the accident.
Varela currently led the Rocío del Espíritu Santo International Ministry (Mires) located in El Cafetal, in front of the Santa Sofía Clinic.
Eleazar was the father of urban music singer Samy Hawk, who sings with Los Wizzards, reports Digital Bean.
Through a statement on the pastor’s Instagram account, they confirmed his death: “We pray for the strength of the pastoral family and we remain firmly committed to continuing the legacy that our apostle has left on this earth through Mires in the various nations,” he said in a statement.
