CHRISTIANNOTICE.COM.- The history of the parishioners who waited for the second coming of Christ in Isabel López, a district of Atlántico in Colombia, has not come to an end, since the shepherd who led the descent of Jesus from heaven disappeared with some belongings and money of the believers and to date nothing has been heard from him.
To receive Christ, the pastor asked the believers to shut themselves up in their homes, leave their jobs and occupations and, furthermore, sell all their possessions, because if they were impregnated with ambition and lust they would not be able to receive the savior.
The money that the believers received for the sale of their goods was given to Gabriel Alberto Ferrer Ruíz, who served as a pastor, according to some of those affected.
The faithful of the Berean church, once stripped of all their belongings, took refuge for two weeks in the house of the religious, where they fasted to “clean themselves” and be free of sins in the “new arrival of Jesus”.
The day of the supposed arrival of Christ never happened, meanwhile dozens of people were still gathered in the pastor’s house waiting for a response.
“Wait for the Apocalypse”
The leader spoke through a video on YouTube, arguing that he had been misunderstood and that his followers were waiting for the Apocalypse, this was the last time Ferrer was seen.
The villagers of the place remained attentive to the believers, who seemed not to react despite what was expected to be a great disappointment.
Now, many say that Gabriel Alberto Ferrer Ruíz fled with the money from the assets of his believers and his whereabouts are still unknown.
Mario Pineda, husband of one of the women who participated in the fast, said that while he was away, his partner sold everything they had in the home and gave the money to the pastor.
A similar testimony was given by Martina Consuegra. “We are very angry with the pastor because we stripped ourselves of all our belongings. Without money or anything, because he was supposedly the kidnapping and we did not take anything material, “she assured in the same space.
In this regard, the mayor of Sabanalarga, Jorge Luis Manotas, reported that the parishioners went to look for the pastor at the church and at his house, but they did not find him; He doesn’t answer cell phone calls either.
According to Blu Radio, the believers contacted the Attorney General’s Office for Ferrer to respond for the damage caused.
