Pastors answer the question about how a pastor can be appointed

.- Users of social networks have made a video in which pastors Paul Washer and Henry Tolopilo explain the process to reach the pastorate of a church.

To explain the process of forming pastors, the religious leaders answered the question: Can the pastor be ordained or can he be self-appointed?

Henry Tolopilo indicated that for a person to be appointed as pastor, they must hear God’s call and then they must be affirmed by the church.

Tolopilo stated that the church has always been the means that God uses to certify that men do have a call to the pastorate.

The pastor explained that in the case of Grace Community Church, the elders were chosen by God and the church certified that they had a real calling.

For his part, Pastor Paul Washer indicated that it should always be taken into account that the Lord has worked through not perfect men and not perfect circumstances.

“According to the scriptures, missionary work is done in the following way: a Bible church with qualified elders who are training other men to have elder qualifications, sending these men after observing their lives… Sending them to another missionary church so they can implement the cycle,” Washer said.

The religious leader also explained that he has seen cases of men who started their churches with bad doctrines, but have straightened themselves out by listening to other pastors.

Wahser argued that pastors who started out poorly but have put a positive spin on their teachings should be assisted by other pastors and not removed from their ministries.
