CHRISTIAN NEWS.COM.- Last Monday, pastoral couple Yvonne Lee-Wilson, 65, and her husband, Adelbert Wilson, 69, were run over to death after a religious service.
The couple was driving a red SUV when it was struck by another vehicle. The car overturned leaving the roof and walls destroyed.
The sister of Lee-Wilsonk, Geneva Davisexpressed that he would like those responsible for the crime to turn themselves in, although he confessed that he does not know if it was an accidental or intentional act.
“I don’t know if you realize what you did. You should come forward because you hurt a family, you hurt church members, you hurt people everywhere. You didn’t just hit them, you ran,” she expressed.
Reports suggest that it was an accident, and that the victims were taken to two nearby hospitals where they died.
The couple have been married for 34 years and leave behind two daughters, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The police found a Nissan Rogue white damaged with the doors open, and it is presumed that it was the vehicle that hit the car of the couple of shepherds.
