CHRISTIANNOTICE.COM.- Mateus Silva, 20, son of pastor Márcio da Vitória, was shot to death after entering the world of drugs. The crime was recorded this Thursday night (24), inside a soccer field in the Sao Pedro neighborhood, in Vitória, Brazil.
Mateus was baptized in the church where his father is a pastor in November of last year. But he ended up turning to drugs, and was killed with at least three shots to the victim. Two were in his arm and another in the chest, which ended up destroying the young man’s heart.
The father even helped his son and took him by car to the Sao Pedro Emergency Room. However, the young man died shortly after arriving at the scene.
The young man’s body was sent to the Legal Medical Department (DML). When he saw his son come out of the emergency room dead, the pastor felt sick and had to be supported, reported the Gazeta do Brasil.
Márcio said that he has a project that helps drug addicts. He said that, before becoming a pastor, he was also involved in drug trafficking and that he tried by all means to get his son off drugs. “25 years ago I left the life of crime, precisely so as not to have an end like this. What I was able to do is help lives, get away from crime, from traffic, get away from this crooked life, I go and now, more than ever, in memory of my son,” said the pastor.
The Civil Police is investigating the case and no suspect has been arrested.
