CHRISTIANNOTICE.COM.- Two days before the Russian invasion of Ukrainian territory, residents of kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, photographed the silhouette of an angel in the sky, which has inspired many Ukrainians in the midst of war, reports Throne Portal.
The photo was posted by Oksana Kadiivska in a Facebook group related to residential areas of the Darnitsa district in kyiv.
Several people in the group said that the silhouette of the supposed angel gives them hope about the future of the country.
The image had more than 3,600 likes on Thursday, and has brought together several to express their faith in God in the midst of the armed conflict.
Deaths in Ukraine
After a week of the Russian invasion, the Ukrainian government claims that 2,000 Ukrainian civilians have died under military attacks, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS).
For its part, the Russian Ministry of Defense indicates the death of 498 Russian soldiers and 1,597 wounded.
Russian Defense Minister Igor Konashenkov said Ukrainian casualties are much higher at 2,870 dead and about 3,700 wounded.
While the office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights reports that as of Thursday, 227 people have died in Ukraine, including 15 children; however, these figures are only from contrasted cases, the number of affected could be even higher.
