Holy God, blessed be you for all eternity, what a pleasure to be able to converse with you with the confidence that only a Father can give. I feel entirely warm, feeling Your presence very close. I know you hear me, my faith assures me.
My God, it is very pleasing for me to address these words to you because it is one of the most important things in my life that I am going to talk to you about.. Without them, I would not have been able to achieve all that I have now, without their support and dedication I would be in perdition.
I want you to know that I will be in gratitude throughout my life for the great gift you gave me. My parents are wonderful people, full of love and advice. They are so valuable to me, Most High, that without a second thought I could do anything for them.
Because they have been my main support in this long road that I have traveled and that I am sure I have not finished traveling yet, because I still have many things to learn, to know that in life there are decisions that must be made wisely. All this, beloved Father, they have taught me.
My mom has been the one I have been able to turn to when I was afraid to face a situationwhere I have found so much love, my God, that security returned to me and I could get up and continue fighting the battle to do things well.
My dad was always my greatest strength, where I found refuge and calm when I needed to rest from my daily effort. He always understood me and he knew how to guide me along the paths that your mandates dictated.
How much love I have received, my beloved Lord, from them. They have loved me so much that now I feel that without their love it would not have been the same. And I owe it all to You, my Lord, who allowed me to be born into this family and gave me the enormous blessing of having two parents like them.
I recognize, God of mercy, that on many occasions I have been wrong and I have failed. On so many occasions they have wanted to advise me and in my foolishness I ignored their recommendations and took another path, how many times have I unintentionally offended them and they did nothing but forgive me and love me more strongly.
Incredible is the goodness that you have allowed to be born in them, Lord. All their lives, my parents have tried to make me a better person, so that I can have my space to develop and prepare myself to be someone in life.
I thank you infinitely for your love, my God. I always reiterate my gratitude for the enormous blessing it is to have them in my existence, to guide me, to comfort me, to make me happy.
I also give thanks for this precious moment of prayer. God of love, I can feel you very close listening to my words and fulfilling my requests because you know what is best for me. Take care of them, my holy Lord, protect them and give them good health.
I ask all this in the name of Jesus, Your only son, our lord and savior. I know that he will be able to carry this message to You so that he can hear my prayers. Blessed Lord, I glorify you. Amen.
