Merciful Father, although it is true that everything that You have created for us, your children, is good and perfect, today everything has been transformed and destroyed by man, who has taken your Creation, blessed Lord, and has destroyed, who has taken your children, and has banished them, who has taken every good thing that You, in your infinite mercy, have done for us, and has violated it, my Lord.
That is why today I present myself before You with a heart ready to enter your presence, my God, because all your humanity needs You. I want to ask you, with great faith, beloved Lord, for this world that You have built for us, so that it may be a good world just as You made it at the beginning, so that all your creatures can coexist in harmony, seeking the common good for all.
How difficult it is, beloved Lord, for some of my brothers to understand that this world is our home, that we are all children of the same Father and that makes us brothers before your eyes, my God. This world is blinded and governed by hate, resentment, anger, Lord, and that is causing serious damage not only to humanity, but also to our planet.
Day by day, my Lord, hatred is sowing death and destruction in different parts of the world, your children who believe in You are being persecuted, people who do good are attacked and disaster is latent in all nations, Mister. You know the reality of our Earth, that is why today I cry out to your mercy, Father of goodness, and I ask you with all my strength to enter the heart of the whole world and transform it for the better.
But before that, my Lord, I also want to acknowledge my sin, my faults and my failings, as well as those of my brothers. You know our weaknesses, Lord, You know that we have failed you, Divine Lord, but on this day, through this prayer, I want to ask your forgiveness on behalf of the whole world, for not fulfilling your commandments, for not paying attention to your Word, my God. We are sinners and now we are suffering the consequence of our actions.
Help us, my God! We need you. Come to work in the life of each one of the people of this world, Lord, and transform our hearts, so that together we can build a better world, a good world that does not create borders, but rather, that is capable of creating bridges of integration and brotherhood.
Listen to the plea of this son of yours, loving Father, because I know that You are the only one capable of transforming everything, of putting peace in our lives, of sending your Holy Spirit Paraclete to every corner of the Earth bringing strength, prosperity and forgiveness. .
King of the universe, do not allow selfishness to take over the world. Do not let us be indifferent to the pain of our brothers, to the sick, to immigrants, to those people who are persecuted for being different or for being victims of racism and hatred. Help us to be good, Lord! Help us to be pious like You, because in your image and likeness we were made, good Father.
Help us, blessed Lord, to recover our values and put aside everything that does not edify us, that adds nothing to our lives, but, on the contrary, harms us and does not help build a better world, a world where our dreams and ideals are strengthened by bonds of brotherhood.
Save us, Lord, and put in each of your children everything that we need to be able to get ahead and make this a better world: love in our hearts, the hope that we can achieve a change if we are taken by your hand and faith to be convinced that everything we do in your holy name will be a reality.
