Friendship is part of life, God in his word speaks of the value of friendship, that we must have friends, because they can be like our brothers. I have had the opportunity to see people who are not part of the same family, but a very strong bond unites them and this is friendship. I want you to know that when we have sincere feelings for another person within us, we can cultivate a true friendship. Which makes it become a true love and show that we can love that friend, to the point that we give our lives for them. Jesus showed us this biblical passage so that we would understand that his love for friends was so immense, that he considered us his friends and that he loved us so much that he was going to give his life for us.
In short, he was teaching his disciples that they were his true friends for him, that he was going to give his life for them.
