O merciful God, thank you for the miracle of life that blows my soul, that sustains the lives of my friends and relatives with well-being, because you can, be by my side once again accompanying me day and night in all the things I have planned. To You I raise my eyes Lord, remembering the people who in life left a mark on my heart.
It will always be a mystery to be able to understand the departure of our friends, of the members of our family, people that we have loved for so long and that by your designs, you took them from this earth. But somehow, I try to accept everything that has been happening as stages of the same life.
You, Lord, who generously grant forgiveness and are love in all its splendor, give yourself completely to all your children for their salvation. Today I ask you with great nostalgia for the soul of my loved ones, for my brothers in faith, my friends who are the family that I chose.
Because all of them went through this life, demonstrating their affection and integrity with their actions, perhaps some did not speak much but with their way of being, they quickly won the hearts of everyone who knew them and have been so loved.
Wonderful Father, I ask you so that their souls may be illuminated by the light of your beautiful face, elevated towards your heart, and thus they may enjoy the beauties that your kingdom keeps, where all the promises that were given are expressed in love. .
Forgive all their faults, perhaps some left this world without having repented of their bad actions, perhaps some committed very serious faults and at the last moment felt a little remorse, but death was so sudden, it came so quickly that they didn’t have time to ask your forgiveness.
On the way to your altar, forgive them of all faults, cleanse the souls of all those who want to return to You. Look with more emphasis at all the good deeds they were able to do and have compassion on them my Lord, welcome them with you in your precious heaven, heal their wounds and take them immediately to You.
Well, You have wanted to call them to the joy of the mystery of your glory, so that now they can exalt you and praise you from above together with all your wonderful army of faithful and be part of all the good news that you have prepared to improve the world.
I ask you for all the children, who were part of my family on earth, so that we resign ourselves to the short departure of their little bodies, For the young people who departed in the full flower of their bodily life, take pity on them and lead them towards the fullness of your kingdom, so that they may be absolutely happy in your love.
For the soul of my father or my mother who departed into your arms, so that you have pity on them and forget their faults and so they can enjoy and be a part of the praises that with great fervor proclaim from the height of your holy abode. .
Dear Lord, You who cried inconsolably for the death of your soul brothers in the grave, understand perfectly the pain felt by those of us who still remain on earth and miss our loved ones. Grant us comfort, acceptance and hope that one day by the grace of your resurrection, we can meet again and embrace forever.
