Father God,
watch over (name person), Priest, my friend,
and one of your loyal servants in your house.
I have always had a very particular love and appreciation for him;
He has given me the best advice for life
and I admire his wisdom and knowledge of the gospel.
Take care, please, Father God, of his health,
your home, and your family,
of his soul and his body,
and allow it to continue serving you for many more years
with the grace and devotion that he has known how to do;
because I can say, oh my goodness, that (name person)
he is a true representative of Christ on earth.

Almighty and Eternal Father,
that for a long time you have been able to provide ministers for your Church;
we ask you with eternal faith in your actions,
that you grant us today as always
priests with a vocation, excellent and adequate,
that they may serve you and sanctify your people;
inspire your faithful servants
so they can rise up among the people
men willing to take on this beautiful task of serving you.

We ask you, our Father and Lord
take home those you know can carry the work of Christ,
and preach the Gospel uniting the people with you, Our Creator.

Blessed Christ,
Your will has been to give your Church a living image
May your charity incarnate as the Shepherd of your faithful flock.
Enlighten the priests so that they can follow the example of the Holy Curé of Ars
that they can learn from his simplicity, his charisma and his devotion,
and how your love and your word feed us and instruct us,
it teaches us repentance and heals our soul from our sins;
to fight with patience and perseverance against the forces and temptations of the Evil One;
also teach the young priests the example of the Holy Cure of Ars
and of those who have heard your call and take your voice to the communities
so that the grace of the Holy Cure is replicated and multiplied.

Take care, my Lord Jesus Christ
of your Priests that day by day represent you in your Altars
Cover them with your protection because you have descended from heaven
and you have brought them to this earthly world to learn from You.

Satisfy them with your blood and your body, when they are tempted by worldly pleasures
Defend them and give them comfort when they have bitter and sad hours,
when they doubt their faith and think they have sown on barren ground,
and believe that they have sacrificed their souls in vain;
draw them to you, because you guide and comfort them as they do us;
Bless both their thoughts and their deeds. Amen.

Divine Christ,
Only begotten of the Most High,
We ask you for your priest commiseration,
because they do not stop being weak creatures;
and of those who have kept the fire of your love,
who have never abandoned you and have never doubted you
sanctify them so they can continue to serve you
with a holy vocation, fidelity and fervour;
raise their souls to be holy men
more worthy of you and your Church
Bless them abundantly so that they last in time and Eternity
Keep them always in your heart

Merciful Holy Spirit,
take care and protect your faithful shepherds
may they never lack reasons to worship and devotion to you
May the fire of love that You have lit in them never go out or diminish.
may all its fruits and its gifts be yours
give them light and strength so that they can seal the soul of the creatures
through baptism and confirmation
do not abandon them, and cover them always with your help and with your grace,
my prayers are humble and your purposes are very great
but I know that if I offer you clay, you will transform it into gold,
And so I offer you these words so that you convert them
in peace, love, purity and joy
