Dear Heavenly Father. You understand the heart of parents. You know that although I trust You, it is very difficult to leave my son completely in Your hands. I am worried, even angry about the bad influences that push against you Lord.
Please put your hands around his life and guide him into your presence. Give him a thirst for You and a dissatisfaction for the pleasures of this world. Place people in his path to influence and encourage them into your presence. I ask you Holy Spirit to convince, persuade and strengthen my son. In the name of Jesus, I pray for the power of the Holy Spirit over the enemy and his forces of evil that daily assault my son.
I pray against the deceitful promises of the enemy; I pray against the pleasure of evil, that sin tastes bitter to my son. Lord, make him turn away from harmful friends and dangerous actions of his. He allows him to run to you for protection, power, and purpose. Help my son to find his identity only in You, and not in the lies of the enemy of Christ.
I claim victory in my son’s life through Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross and His mighty resurrection. In the holy and mighty name of Jesus, I pray that my son will return to the blessings of a life lived completely for God. May he walk worthy of Your calling. May his life no longer conform to the world, but be transformed in his mind. Lead him in his good and perfect will. I deliver it into Your hands to transform it through Your power. In your precious name I declare it.

Why do our children become rebellious?
