Good and merciful Lord, I turn to You on this day because I know that You always listen to me and are attentive to my pleas. That is why, my precious Lord, that today I come to stand before You with an open heart so that your holy presence completely floods my life and that of my family.
On this occasion, beloved Father, I come to put in your blessed hands the life of my family, of each of its members; please I ask you to take care of them, protect them and bless them, that you keep them from all evil and lead them along the paths of good; may your infinite love cover them and separate them from all evil, from any trick that the enemy wants to use to harm them or make them fall into temptation.
Deliver them from accidents, my God, and keep them away from all danger; cover them with your Most Precious Blood and be their protective shield at any time and place, because I know that the enemy lies in wait, but your power and your glory are greater than everything.
My God, Jesus Christ, I beg you to take my family and unite us more each day. Help us to live in peace and harmony, may tranquility reign in our home. Keep away the problems of our lives and if there are quarrels between us or any grudge pending to heal, be You who restores us as a family unit to live together and happily without divisions, fights or distances.
I implore you, my blessed Lord, to bind all negative feelings in this family; all envy, hate, resentment, and other feelings that do not come from You, and take them away, my Lord, to May only love, joy and happiness reign in this home.
I ask you, beloved Lord, to help us to have sweet words with each other, help us to understand each other, to be sensitive to the feelings of others, to think before speaking and that if at any time we offend each other, it is You who give us the courage to recognize our mistakes and ask for forgiveness with a repentant heart; that whatever the problem is, we can sit down together to solve it, as the family that we are, my Lord.
Beloved Jesus, on this day I also want to ask you to help us forget all memories that bind us to resentment and sadness. Help us to overcome these bad feelings and to know that forgiveness is a grace that only comes from You, beloved Lord. I also ask you, good Father, that you help us to have a good communication, that you strengthen trust between us and that we can truly love each other, not by commitment, nor superficially, but with a love from the heart.
That each of the members of this family can feel appreciated, valued and above all loved. That each one of us can feel that we are important and special, and although the other people in the world have despised and marginalized us, that this never happens in our family. My God, that every time we get home, that infinite love that You put within us, can be felt in peace, in joy and in that warmth that only a true family knows how to give.
