O God, from whom all fatherhood in heaven and on earth proceeds, Father, who are Love and Life, make every human family on earth become, through your Son, Jesus Christ, “born of Woman”, and of the Holy Spirit, source of divine charity, a true sanctuary of life and love for generations because they are always renewed.
Make your grace guide the thoughts and works of the spouses towards the good of their families and of all the families of the world.
May the young generations find in the family a strong support for their humanity and their growth in truth and love.
Make love, corroborated by the grace of the sacrament of marriage, prove stronger than any weakness and any crisis, which our families sometimes go through.
Finally, we ask you through the intercession of the Holy Family of Nazareth, that the Church in all the nations of the earth can fruitfully fulfill its mission in the family and through the family. You, who are Life, Truth and Love, in the unity of the Son and the Holy Spirit.
