Sometimes we feel powerless the illness of a parent, a child, a friend, a spouse. Healing prayers allow us to surrender the sick we know to the Lord.
“Lord, the one you love is sick.” (John 11:3)

Prayer to the Divine Child Jesus for the healing of a sick person

dear and sweet Child Jesus:

with all the faith of our being,
with all our love and hope,

Prayer for a sick child
“Dear Lord, you know the hearts of your children and you do not remain indifferent before the poor who begs you. You know how much the welfare of our children afflicts us, you understand the concern of parents in the face of the illness of one of their children.
Lord Jesus, I come today to ask you to descend and heal our child of all his emotional, mental and physical wounds that affect his health. (Name the sick child for whom you are praying here.)
Even from the concern that his illness causes us, from the pain and bewilderment, if this illness is within what you allow, we accept this moment as an occasion of purification, of abandonment in your hands, of generous offering of our lives.
We accept this moment as an occasion to unite from suffering to the pains of Christ for the salvation of the world. (Take a few minutes and, calmly, let his heart join in what he has just said with his lips: “With this suffering, I join, Lord, in your passion”).
Now, Lord Jesus, to you who want us to have life in abundance, I ask that by the power of the mystery of your childhood and your hidden life in the home of Nazareth, you heal the child whom you know and love. Take care of his little body and his soul. Pass your healing hand over him so that he feels your relief, your care and recovers quickly, according to your will. Heal his emotional and physical wounds.
You, who received the loving care of Mary and Joseph, comfort and revive their father and mother, do not let them fall into despair, doubt, depression, but from their pain and concern turn to you as a source of true, full and lasting healing of the body and soul.
We present to you the place where the child is, cover that place with your strength and grace. Get rid of everything that, materially or spiritually, could be an obstacle to a speedy recovery. We introduce you to the medical professionals who care for the child, review them with your wisdom, enlighten them so that they can correctly diagnose and find the indicated medication and treatment. Take them as instruments of your healing.
Mary, mother of Jesus and our mother, who, with care and perseverance, cared for your child, look at the heart of the mother and instill confidence in her, so that she too, like you, can see her son grow in stature, wisdom and Grace before God and men.
Dear Saint Joseph, you who were the protector of the Holy Family and defended it from all dangers and even from certain death in the persecution of Herod, I present to you the father of this creature, intercede before your beloved Son Jesus, so that he achieves stay strong even in pain and worry. That he manages to obtain the necessary means for the good care of his son. Help him not to decay and to remain lucid to the will of God.
Lord, you said to believe that we have already obtained what we ask you with faith in prayer, now I raise my voice and my arms and I thank you for the health that this child will receive by the power of your love that listens to this confident prayer.
