Prayer from Psalm 111 – God cares for his people (Explanation)

In the psalm 111 there is talk of giving praise to Jehovah, for his great works for everyone who needs it. By his justice, that he remains forever, and has managed to do great wonders. Because he has given food to those who fear, and never forgets his covenant.

It talks about how the power of his works was manifested in his people, giving inheritance to the nations. His commandments are mentioned, which were done in truth and righteousness. He names the redemption that he sent for his people, and as the beginning of wisdom is the fear of Jehovah.

🙏Prayer Psalm 111🙏

Hallelujah!
I will praise the Lord with all my heart
in the council and assembly of the upright.

Great are the works of the Lord,
sought after by all who delight in them.

Honor and majesty are his work,
and his justice endures forever.

He has made his wonders memorable;
gracious and merciful is Jehovah.

He has given food to those who fear him;
he will remember his agreement forever.

He has manifested the power of his works to his people,
giving him the inheritance of the nations.

The works of his hands are truth and justice;
faithful are all its precepts,

affirmed forever and ever,
done in truth and righteousness.

Redemption has sent his people;
He has commanded his covenant forever;
holy and awesome is his name.

The beginning of wisdom is the fear of Jehovah;
good understanding have those who put this into work;
his praise remains forever.
