I am so grateful, my Lord, for the children you have given me, because they are invaluable people, full of love and talents, they are incredible beings who daily give me countless joys and memories forever, for which I am so happy to be able to be his mother, his father, well there is nothing more comforting than the love of my children, Lord.
And although sometimes things are difficult between us, Lord, today I raise this prayer to ask you to give them your sacred protection, my Blessed God; take care of them from everything that wants to harm them, from false friends, from criminals and murderers, don’t let my children be hurt or that their joy is truncated by the actions of others, do not allow it my God.
Help them in their life to make good decisions, that they always know how to choose what is right, that they learn to be guided by your word and that they remain firm in their principles, that nothing doubt their faith or their love towards You.
You know my Lord that as a father I wish the best for them, because You, being my Father, have given me only the best of You; but I am a man with many mistakes my God, and I have also committed them with them, Lord, I beg you to help me to be a just and wise man, to be able to guide my children with my example and with my love.
Never allow, my Most High God, that my words of anger hurt the hearts of my children, help me to be patient with them, to put their value as people above all mischief, disobedience or perhaps a mistake that they themselves can commit, because only You are the only one who is perfect, my God.
Guide me and teach me to be a Father as just and as loving as You are, my God, that I have no shame in expressing my love to my children anywhere, because it will be a lifelong lesson for them. And even though they are big and adults, give me the joy of being able to tell them how much I love them, because they are my greatest treasure despite the years.
Help my son God, so that they can differentiate the good things from the bad, so that they get away from bad friendships that only want to see them fall, so that they know how to make good decisions and do not get involved in problems and fall into danger, beloved lord. You know how much concern I have for my children, Holy God, please protect them from danger and teach them to walk safely.
They sometimes do not realize that there is evil in the world, Lord, sometimes they think that all the advice I give them is because I want to keep them tied to my side, or it is because I do not want their happiness, on the contrary, You more than anyone, Divine Lord, know how much I want my children to be happy, but they sometimes do not understand it. Give them understanding and wisdom, Father of goodness, so that they understand that the only thing I wish for them is well-being and happiness.
I ask you with much fervor Father, give them of your wisdom to be able to distinguish between what is good and what is notso that they are strong enough to say no to things that do not please you my God.
I wish nothing more, my blessed God, that my children give you their little hearts, meanwhile I will continue instructing and teaching them every day about You and your immense love, because there is no happiness more absolute than the one lived being with you Lord, and I want my children to be as happy as I have been since I accepted you in my heart.
