The prayer of the day wednesday it is offered as a framework for personal devotion; follows a pattern that is shared with others. In this way, Christians can join in their worship using the common resources of the lectionary and the general form of the Church year.
Some will use prayer during the day as their only act of prayer and praise. Others will use both morning prayerafternoon and the night prayer in a simple prayer pattern at the beginning and end of the day.

Thank you for another breath, another day of life. Thank you for making a way for me to have life and live life to its fullest potential! Guide me throughout this Wednesday day. Be a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Order my steps. Take care of my heart. Direct my mind. Guide my mouth And as always, let my life please you.
Wednesday mornings are often difficult when it comes to motivation, the commute to work, by car, bus or train, long hours, decisions to make, responsibilities, frustrations, fears, joys and unhappiness. Mixed emotions!
Bless them with the rest they deserve and need, and may we be grateful for the work they do that makes our lives a little easier each day.
Blessed be the work we do, the words we speak, the love we share and the grace we show, in our daily walk through this beautiful and precious world. For those who struggle on their journey, Lord, offer your firm hand on the rugged terrain to those who face today, and let them drink your living water, pure and refreshing, calming, restoring the most tired of souls.
May God bless you as you rise, through the chorus of dawn and joy. May God bless you in his work, through honest work and service. May God bless you as you share, through the word and hug each other. May God bless you in rest, through a peaceful sleep and protection.
Lord, bless our journey this coming week. May the rhythm be constant, roads made safe, there are no obstacles to prevent it, and conversations with fellow travelers be fruitful and uplifting. Lord, bless our journey this coming week.

Wednesday morning prayer to brighten the day
Heavenly Father, this is the day you have made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. I give you all praise for the gift of another blessed day. Your mercy never ceases. Your mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning.
Lord, you have a plan for me, for my life. Help me to keep the faith and walk firmly in the paths that you lead me. Guide my thoughts today in the midst of this week, and even as the week progresses, that I have always taken the time to commune with you and praise your name.
Psalm 143:8 The morning brings me the word of your mercy, because in you I have put my trust. Show me the path I should follow, because I entrust my life to you.
Psalm 30:5 Crying can last all night, but joy comes with the morning.
What it means for evil, God uses it for good Father, clear my mind and energize me with purpose and direction. Fill me with love and kindle my spirit with hope and promise. You take what was supposed to hurt me, and you use it to my advantage. So be it.
Prayer to end Wednesday
Lord of all, you are a God of abundance, a Lord who provides for us in our need. As we begin these first days of Advent help me to believe that you know what I need.
Give me the courage to listen to your voice. and the freedom to open my heart to the graces that you are offering me to put my trust in you. Thank you, Lord, because you can’t hurt me, even if you try, because:
- Your angels camp around me today.
- You fill my house with peace.
- You turn anger into joy.
Heavenly Father, the burdens of our lives seem to overwhelm us at times when we don’t feel like we need to pray or even get out of bed. Lord today, help us to give everything for you. Your word says that all those who are tired and burdened come, and you will give us rest for our tired soul.
May the Lord help us to receive that rest. Father, when we don’t know what to do in a situation, let us give it to you because you love us.
Psalm 92:2 It is good to proclaim your mercy in the morning and your faithfulness in the evening.
Lamentations 3:22-23 The mercy of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is your fidelity.
I give it all to you Lord: So today, right now, I give it all to you. Help me leave it in your hands and rest in your promise give me rest.
Today we choose joy because you are in control. I declare that great things are going to happen today: Favor, Abundance, Financial blessings, press, shake, shake together and run into our hands
Joy: your overflow of love. Lord, we praise you because only you are worthy. You woke us up this morning. Oh you have blessed us with and so much more you are going to do. And so Lord, take control of this day, our minds, thoughts and hearts. We will give you all praise, honor and glory, in Jesus name, Amen.
