Glorious and incomparable Lord, today I want to begin my prayer by thanking you with all my heart for my life, for my family, for my health, because there is no lack of food on my table and above all, in a very special way, Thank you very much for giving me a job, my beloved Lord.
Thank you because I have a daily livelihood and I can earn an honest living. Thank you, because even if it doesn’t have greatness, it is a decent job that gives me enough to be able to live without lacking what is necessary with my family. Thank you Lord, because in You I find the inspiration to do my day in the best possible way, and although sometimes it is exhausting, I want to thank you because without this work, my life would not be the same, blessed Lord.
How wonderful it is to wake up in the morning and know that You take care of me and bless me with a job, my Lord, because You, who always know my need, saw that I needed a job and granted it to me, my God, that’s why I have full confidence in which You bless my days and accompany me in every job I do.
I want to ask you, Almighty Father that you help me to carry out each one of the activities that were entrusted to me with joy and enthusiasm. That if for some reason I do not know how to do what is asked of me, You send the presence of your Holy Spirit to enlighten me and show me the path I must follow.
Clarify my ideas and guide me, give me the light I need to be efficient and that the results of the work I do bear great fruit for me, my workplace and all my colleagues. May each of my labors be a pleasant offering to You, blessed Lord.
Help me to use the gifts that You have given me wisely. Help me to work fairly and honestly, let me not be reaped by greed. Please help me, merciful Lord, to be able to deal with the problems that always arise, perhaps with the ill-treatment that my superiors may cause me, some discussion with my colleagues, or the long and extensive working hours.
Only You know my reality and only You are the only one who can give me the peace I need in my work environment. Help me learn to deal with and respond to difficult situations, but also teach me to recognize those moments when bad intentions are the cause of abuse or injustice.
Good Father, Lord of goodness, I ask you to be my strength and my refuge. That when my mind and my body are tired, it is Your word that comforts me and encourage me to move on. Give me calm, peace and hope, renew in me the spirit of work and quench my thirst with your water of eternal life.
beloved Lord, give me the wisdom I need to be able to solve my work with great skill and ability. Take care of me and protect me from any danger or accident, help me to be patient with my colleagues and to work hard and eagerly, to be an organized and responsible person, doing every little thing with love as your Son Jesus worked in that workshop in Nazareth, which He can be my example, my guide and always keep him in mind when calamity lurks and I feel like I can’t take it anymore.
In this, my prayer, dear God, I ask you to help me have a clear and objective vision of my work, to help me be proactive and to be able to fulfill everything that has been entrusted to me. Help me to be able to meet the expectations of my employers, and in case I find myself working for my own dreams, with my effort I can feel proud of what I am achieving, little by little and with your help. I give you my work so that you bless it, Lord and I can honestly earn the sustenance I need to be able to afford my life and that of my family.
Bless, Lord, every aspect of my life and bless my work, bless my mind, my thoughts, bless my hands and my work tools, that everything be touched by your blessed hands, Lord and be covered with your grace and your anointing so that the results of my labors are done under your holy and perfect Will.
I intend to put all of myself to be an element of good in my work and let your blessing act on me. I promise to be enthusiastic and get up with your help when everything seems lost, because I am sure that You never give us something we can’t handle and if we do not know something, it is You who instructs and inspires us, my Lord. I know that you have great plans for my life and that you do everything in perfect times, that is why I trust in You and leave everything in your hands, my Lord.
Thank you very much for listening to my prayer, for everything you have done, do and will continue to do in my life. Thank you because you have never left me alone and I know you will never forsake me. I love you infinitely, good Father and I leave everything in your hands telling you: Glory to the Father, to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, now and forever and ever, Amen.
