Father of kindness, on your lap I lay my head because in front of you, I am as fragile as glass.. I thank you for the breath of life you gave to my soul, because you love me as your beloved son and with each passing day you give me the opportunity to fill my being with your presence. But like every human being who goes through various circumstances, mine is not the best. I need you my God.
My soul thirsts for your mercy, because at this moment it no longer reflects more than sin, pain, sadness and loneliness. Lately I react defensively to anything that is shared with me, no matter how small, I feel that I don’t respond with the patience that I used to, it’s not right for me to be like this.
Merciful Father, only in You can I find the living water that can cleanse my soul, I feel her tied to resentment, so imprisoned by pain that she doesn’t let my wounds heal. You are my only refuge and the hope I long for, come Lord, don’t delay any longer, come to my aid.
Take my whole life, for You are the remedy for all my diseases of the soul, who comforts my oppressed heart, who restores the bonds of brotherhood and repairs broken loyalty. Heal my soul from all consequences, oh blessed Father, I am yours.
Send your Holy Spirit, be a paraclete, come to comfort and penetrate every corner of my soul with the strength of your love and your comfort. Find the roots of these consequences that hurt me and tear them out the first time and without hesitation, dig up the causes of this suffering and take them out of my life.
Wash my wounds with your precious blood Holy God and give me back the breath that fills my soul with life from my existence, I feel that I do things by inertia, that nothing moves me. I quickly get discouraged and no longer worry about the brother on my side. Come soon Lord, because without your love, I have plenty of everything and at the same time I lack everything, I do not find meaning in what surrounds me.
Eternal Father, I ask your forgiveness for everything that has caused my empty soul, for hurting you with my bad actions, for making people I love very much shed tears and blind me to the truth and struggle to face the adversities that come my way. Because the problems were stronger than your powerful grace.
Have mercy on this little being who wants to return to You and no longer move away. Cleanse my soul Lord! May your light enter through every fiber of my being, enter to the depths of my soul, so as not to be a victim of gloom or darkness again.
That with your infinite mercy, I can cleanse the vision of a true life and no longer be attached to vices, to material things, to situations that are completely toxic for me.. I no longer want to be a prisoner of fear my God. Heal my soul, so that if necessary, it will be reborn and my spirit will open completely to You and remain there.
You are the only one who doesn’t get tired of me or get impatient, tolerant Father of my impulses and my flaws, you love me without conditions. Oh good Lord, make me a new man, what You know is really good for my soul, that is why I give you my life with this prayer with an open heart, because I know you will not turn your back on me.
Forever away from my life all anguish, bitterness, suffering, negative thinking, hatred and revenge that poison me and do not let me see your immaculate face. Don’t let the evil one oppress my soul anymore with his snares, be my protective shield now and always.
Purify my whole being, soften everything that has hardened my heart. I want to glorify you with everything I do and with my clean soul in your hands Lord. Be the owner of all my soul, I trust in You, that prayer is the best option for my moments of despair. Take my soul Father it is completely yours, restore it, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
