God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him may not perish, but may have eternal life, and the cross is the reminder of the Heavenly Father’s love for us, and of the greater love of Christ, who He gave his life for his friends and for all of us, that is why the enemy hates the cross, because it reminds us of the infinite love of Jesus.
The cross, then, is a sign of reconciliation with God, with ourselves, with humans and with the entire order of creation in the midst of a world marked by rupture and lack of communion.
Christ has many false followers who seek him only for his miracles, but He is not fooled, and therefore he warned: “Whoever does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me”, however, being aware that We must carry our cross, we come with this prayer to his eternal mercy, to put ourselves in his hands and ask for his blessed help.
Do this prayer whenever you want, or do it for seven days in a row if you have any particular difficulty, begging for the mercy of our beloved God and Lord.
