CHRISTIANNEWS.COM. – The Archdiocese of Natal (RN) fired the priest Julio César Souza Cavalcante, after the leak of audios about an alleged involvement between him and a faithful. Sexual intercourse had occurred more than 20 times.
The revelation was made by the boy himself, identified as Breno, who was engaged at the time of the relationship and even had the wedding celebrated by the religious leader.

Since last Friday (03), the case has been one of the most commented topics on social networks after the recordings were broadcast on the Internet.
In the audio, a woman can be heard confronting the priest for his betrayal with her husband, Breno, who is also present in the conversation.
“You, as a priest, sleep with a faithful, knowing that he is engaged, about to get married, do you want me to find a softer word than orgy?” she asked.
According to the woman, the priest Júlio was responsible for carrying out the couple’s wedding ceremony and had relations with Breno when he knew that the young man was engaged. After being pressured, the priest confessed to having had sexual relations with the young man only “two or three times.”
However, Breno corrected the priest and said that they have exchanged caresses on more than 20 occasions. “Not every time he went to sleep there it happened,” replied the former priest. The audios also detail that Breno slept for several days in the Parish after the invitation of the religious.
The parish priest worked at the Igreja Matriz Nuestra Señora de Candelaria, in Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, and as determined by the Archbishop of Natal, Dom Jaime Vieira Rocha, he must remain away from all his functions until the facts are clarified, reported the G1 portal.
