Priest Luis Toro says that listening to Christian music is bad

CHRISTIANNOTICE.COM.- During mass, a parishioner asked priest Luis Toro a question. The young man asked if Catholics can listen to Christian or Protestant music.

Immediately, Toro pointed out that it was an easy answer. “Out of a sense of belonging, Catholics should listen to Catholic music, and Protestants listen to Protestant music,” he explained. (See video here).

He also added that: “If I am Catholic, I must identify myself with Catholic music, if they sing Protestant music within the Catholic church, the message would be that they are in love with Protestants and want to be like them.”

Later, Toro mentioned an example of the mouse and the cheese, where he was given fresh cheese first 2 nights and poisoned the third. He used that analogy to attack Protestants, saying that in his songs they try to inject doctrine into whoever listens to them.

The priest gave the example of the song «To build the church of the Lord». Which he said the choir was poisoned. “I am the church, you are the church.”

«You don’t see anything bad there, but in the song there is the Protestant doctrine in the word ‘la’. The Catholic must sing, ‘I am the church, you are the church.’ Remove the poison and eat the cheese, “said the priest.

Finally, Luis Toro recommended that Catholics not listen to Protestant music. «Protestant songs are the vehicle through which the doctrine they want to teach is passed. So if you sing those songs, there you go and that’s a big problem », he concluded.

Reactions to your words

«To the Catholics of the whole world, do not fall for the stupidities of this charlatan priest. Any song that praises God can be sung by a person, no matter what religion they are. They have to understand that God looks at the heart, not what church you belong to. God bless you,” wrote Javier Maltos.

For her part, Anastacia Gabriel commented that: “You can listen to the music you want, the father is too jealous of his Catholic religion, but God’s message crosses limits.”

“Music was created by God and to praise God. My God, I pray for this priest because of his ignorance, since when music for God is for religion. Please pray for this soul that is confining many people, and the saddest thing is that many people follow him,” said Juan Castro.
