Incline your ear, O Lord, answer me,
because I am afflicted and needy.
Guard my soul, for I am merciful;
save you, oh my God, your servant who trusts in you.
Have mercy on me, oh Lord,
Because to you i claim all day.
Rejoice the soul of your servant,
for to you, oh Lord, I lift my soul.
Because you, Lord, are good and forgiving,
and you abound in mercy to all who call on you.
Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer
and attend to the voice of my prayers.
In the day of my distress I will call upon you,
because you will answer me.
There is none like you among the gods, O Lord,
nor works equal to your works.
aAll the nations you made will come
and they will worship before you, O Lord,
and they will glorify your name,
because you are great and do wonders;
only you are God.
Teach me, O Lord, your way; I will walk in your truth;
consolidate my heart so that I fear your name.
I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart,
and I will glorify your name forever.
Because your mercy is great towards me,
and you have freed my soul from the depths of bSheol.
O God, the proud have risen up against me,
and a congregation of violent people has sought my life,
and they have not set you before themselves.
But you, O Lord, merciful and gracious God,
slow to anger and abounding in bmercy and truth,
turn to me and have mercy on me;
give your strength to your servant,
and save the son of your servant.
Make with me a sign for good,
and let those who hate me and be ashamed see it,
for you, O Lord, helped me, and comforted me.
