the last words of the beatitudes in the Sermon on the Mount that Jesus Christ manifests to the parishioners are: rejoice and rejoice because your reward will be great in heaven.
In this sense, reference is made to the fact that joy and rejoicing will envelop the faithful after the promise of receiving a great reward.
The definition of the word reward is linked with the thing that is given as a reward to someone for having obtained an achievementin our world that prize has a material value, but in the word of God the rewards are intangible with a spiritual value that is highly rewarding.
Jesus Christ also speaks of a place where the rewardWhat is it ”in heaven”that is, one invitation to believers to be part of his kingdom
But, how great will that reward be in heaven?
Certainly God measures us through our actions, thoughts and intentionswith the only wish that we be image and likeness of Jesus Christwho was among us to proclaim in deeds and words his only truth: God’s justice.
So believers who act according to Christian dogma who give the beatitudesbeing children of God and persecuted for it, must rejoice and rejoice because your reward will be great in heaven.
The Kingdom of heavens is that gratifying promise, that divine and eternal prize that is received on the day of final judgmentwhere before God we will be judged based on our works and spiritual actions in earthly life.
That is why it is vitally important that during our lives on earth we practice the word of God, despite the evil that may exist in society. rejoice and rejoice because your reward will be great in heaven.
