Biography of Saint John Mary Vianney
John Mary Vianney born in dardilly, near Lyon, France, on May 8, 1786. His parents were very devout and faith-filled peasants. His mother taught him the Christian life, and from a very early age, the little boy showed great interest in the Lord and the virgin mary. In fact, at the age of nine he went to Dardilly School, where he did not last long as they considered it more useful to work as a farmer. Then, on August 13, 1815, when he was 29 years old, Juan Maria was ordained priest and appointed curate in Écully (France).
