COLORADO, USA.- Last Tuesday (7), the state of Colorado (USA) was rocked by a shooting attack at a school that left one person dead and eight others injured. A minor girl undergoing a transition process for a sex change was arrested on suspicion of participating in the crime.
The other suspect was identified by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office as 18-year-old Devon Erickson. Colorado recently marked the 20th anniversary of the Columbine High School massacre, where two heavily armed students ages 17 to 18 killed 20 of their classmates and a teacher before committing suicide on April 20, 1999.
This time the target was the Highlands Ranch STEM School, which is only a few kilometers from where the Columbine massacre occurred in 1999, according to information from the WND portal. The dead student was identified as 18-year-old Kendrick Castillo.
“Sources said the motive for the suspected shooters went beyond bullying and involved revenge and anger against one another at school and that at least one of the suspects was involved in legal and illegal drug use and I was in therapy,” Denver television station KMGH reported.
Authorities reported that the investigation is advancing, with testimonies collected from witnesses who survived the shooting. The North American press won the fact that the young Devon Erickson was furious with the comments against homosexuality and LGBT militancy made by Christians who follow the biblical view on the matter.
The Washington Times portal reported that Erickson, citing the Heavy.com site, posted on a social network that hated Christians for their teachings on homosexualityas well as other publications against President Donald Trump.
“You know what I hate? All these gay hating christians but in the bible, it says in Deuteronomy 17: 12-13, if someone does not do what their priest commands, they must die. There’s a lot of crazy stuff like that. But all they do is “gay ewwwwww,” he wrote on Facebook in 2016.
In another post, he shared a video of comedian and TV host Seth Meyers attacking President Trump. Years earlier, in 2015, she shared a Democrats Occupy message praising then-President Barack Obama.
The two attackers invaded two classrooms and opened fire with pistols. The weapons had apparently been hidden in a guitar case. Five of the eight injured students have already been discharged from hospitals, while three remain hospitalized.
“His colleagues said that Castillo was among a group of three students who tried to take down one of the gunmen by attacking them when they invaded the classroom,” the Daily Mail portal.
“The father of one of these heroic students, Brendan Bialy, told the New York Times that the trio attacked the gunmen as they entered the classroom” and took the weapons from a guitar case. He said that “his son and two of his friends tried to restrain the shooter, but one of the boys was hit in the chest.”
Police were seen at Erickson’s home, and according to reports, he had a car painted with satanic symbols
and the words “f * # @ _ &% society” which was towed.
The teen’s social media pages indicate that he is a registered member of the Democratic Party, and his Snapchat account is under the name “devonkills.”
shots x satanism
As more reports emerge of the school shooting, many Christians have highlighted the strange spiritual details that may have motivated the attack. According to the news portal Charisma News, the Christian writer Larry Tomczak spoke about the tragedy, highlighting the importance of talking about the growing cult of Satan in American society.
“Seduction and fascination with the demonic realm can be an integral part of the shooters’ involvement. Pastors and parents should take this opportunity to give clear Biblical teachings on the direction of those dangerous areas and, at the same time, guide those of us who influence Jesus who triumphed over Satan,” he stated.
Another Christian leader offered a similar perspective: “What else can we expect when we expel God from our schools and streets, public squares, courts and our legislative and judicial process?» questioned Bert Farias.
“All the rhetoric and politically correct speech is useless and only adds to the confusion. Darkness and death will continue to spread in our land until people humble themselves and turn from their evil ways and submit to the Lord Jesus Christ.
“Gender identity is part of the confusion that arises in a culture devoid of the presence of the living God and of the true preaching of the Gospel,” Farias continued.
“And as for the true Christians who [supuestamente] they hate gays, that’s again empty rhetoric shaped by a culture that continually separates Christianity from the Bible. The truth sounds like hate to those who hate Biblical truth.”he added.
For John Burton, another North American Christian writer, this type of shooting attack offers the opportunity for the Church to reflect on the end times and carry out a true revival.
“Light and dark will only get more distinct as we get closer to the end. We have yet to imagine the level of evil that will be unleashed on the world, and we shouldn’t be surprised. Satan is furious. The world is definitely not getting better and better, as some may suggest, but the most glorious hour for the church is now! We must display the unmistakable power of God. Yes, we must love. The world needs to see it without question. However, many have devoted themselves to love as the only solution, but reject something else – the matchless power of God,” he declared.
