CHRISTIANNEWS.COM.- What does the Russian invasion of Ukraine have to do with the Messiah? All, according to a rabbi who studied Talmud prophecy.
Rabbi Yehuda Richter of Kfar Tappuach revealed in a recent conference titled ‘Emergency Broadcast: Russia, Ukraine, Armageddon, Bringing Redemption’. That in the Talmud, a little-known prophecy touches on how wars in “the seventh year” are a sign of the end of days and a harbinger of the arrival of the Messiah.
The rabbi explains that the Nation of Israel will experience redemption in the seventh year, or sabbatical, in which we now find ourselves, Israel365 News reports.
Furthermore, the rabbi adds that the war in the Ukraine is taking place in the months associated with the redemption. Adar (February-March), in which the Jewish people celebrate their redemption from destruction during the holidays of Purim and Nisan (March-April). Where the Jewish people celebrate their redemption from Egypt at the Passover festival.
Likewise, Rabbi Richter explains that the Talmud prophesies wars in the seventh year, and in the eighth year the Messiah will come: “The Derech Zuta treatise in chapter 10, the first law says that they are a little different.”
He also added: “It says that there will be wars during the seventh year, specifically at the end of the seventh year. At the beginning of the eighth year, then the Messiah of David will come to redeem the Jewish people, the Mashiach, the Son of David.
Lastly, the rabbi then states that when the wars end in the seventh year, the Messiah, a descendant of David, arrives in the eighth year (Sept 2022-Sept 2023).
