CHRISTIANNEWS.COM.- Rebecca Crews shares her testimony of how God restored her marriage to famous actor Terry Crews. After learning about her addiction to pornography and her husband’s infidelities.
“My husband and I had been through a really bitter breakup and were trying to rebuild our marriage, when we got into a verbal fight. I had always had these inner fears of rejection and abandonment. Very often when we would fight, my husband would take his things and leave,” Rebecca said.
“I spent rocking in the chair with my pillow because my biggest fear was that he would leave me. I couldn’t pray. I couldn’t even speak. It was this bitter, dark emptiness that I couldn’t find expression for,” she said.
After sitting there for what “felt like forever,” he felt the strength to scream, “God, what do I do?” Instantly she heard God speak to her, “Write, Rebecca.”
“My hands instantly fell on the keyboard, and the song Breathless came to me in about 10 minutes,” he said.

Married for 32 years with 5 children, the Crews have weathered unthinkable storms together, ever since Rebecca’s “incredibly painful” discovery of Terry’s infidelity. Until his addiction to pornography that was for decades.
“I think I should respect, revere and allow my husband to lead our family. However, I don’t think he’s supposed to accept everything,” he said.
“In those difficult times, the church didn’t help, because sometimes the church can be so accommodating to husbands and expect wives to look the other way and forgive,” he said.
“We are by no means perfect, but I love the relationship we have today. We are free from fear,” Rebecca said.
But after years of counseling and rebuilding their marriage, the couple is stronger than ever today, sharing their story to inspire and encourage others, the Christian Post reports.
