.- An interview in which Pablo Olivares tells his Christian testimony to Don Francisco has gone viral on social networks.
Today, Olivares sings to the Lord, but before he was known for making music with the Heavy Metal band Halogen.
The singer told Don Francisco that he grew up in a Christian home, but decided to leave home and God to pursue his musical career in the secular world.
Pablo assures that when he was with his band in Mexico they were deceived by a supposed instrument seller who turned out to be a kidnapper.
The Argentine commented that the malefactor guided them to an area where they were approached by five armed antisocials who kidnapped his entire gang.
Kidnapping
Pablo told Don Francisco that the kidnappers took them to the Tepito area of Mexico City. The singer said that he was already losing hope of getting out alive, and began to remember his mother and the times she prayed for him.
Olivares stated that one of the kidnappers had a particular hatred for him, and that he pointed a gun at his face and asked: “Do you believe in God?”
The singer stated that he was quite afraid of dying and wondered why he was asking that question to him and not to the other musicians who were atheists. Olivares had hidden his Christian past from his gang, but he explained that deep inside he was motivated to say yes, even though he covered his face because he thought he would be killed for his answer. .
Olivares’ answer saved his life, since the kidnapper told him that if he had answered no, he would have killed him.
By preserving his life, the singer began to feel that the Lord was with him.
Freedom
When the musical group was about to be released, another gang of kidnappers tried to assassinate them, but in the face of the whole situation, what was most on the musician’s mind was the question: “Why me?”
The singer said that when he was released and arrived at the hotel, he knelt down and asked God: “Why me?”
When his manager told him that he should file the complaint, he told him that he would not do it and that God would take care of the trial, earning the laughter of the musicians of his group.
When Olivares returned to Argentina, he saw his mother at the airport and the first thing that came to his mind was to ask her the question that was on his mind: “Why me?” he said. And his mother replied: “Because I prayed for you for 15 years and God answered my prayer tonight.”
