Roma Downey will produce the film version of this story. The producer also stands out for being the creator of the television program “La Biblia”.
Abigail Cowen will star in “Redeeming Love.” This actress has had participation in films such as “Adrienne” and “I Still Believe”.
In the trailer for “Redeemer Love” the actors appear in an area near Cape Town, South Africa, and also shows the statement of a member of the film who says: “I am not a Christian and this book makes me want to believe.”
For her part, Cindy Bond, who is the co-producer of the film, confirms that the book influences people, in fact, she believes that it changed the lives of many.
He also assured that the film will change more lives.

According to the synopsis of the film: «The protagonist, Angela, is a young woman who expects nothing more from men than betrayal. Sold into prostitution while still a child, Angela survives by keeping her hatred alive.

“Redeemer Love” takes place in California in the 1850s, a time when there was a gold rush, “where men sold their souls for a bag of gold and women sold their bodies for a place to sleep,” reports the film’s information.
The director of the film DJ Caruso stated that in the film some characters will go through negative moments that will always accompany them, however, there are others who “can overcome the pain, sadness and brutality to discover how extraordinary they really are”.
He also said, “The Angel’s journey reminds us that healing occurs through love and acceptance, never through forceful judgment.”
