Vico C spoke about the statements given by the producer nicknamed “El Chombo” who said that reggaeton had died.
According to the producer, Pop music such as Reggaeton is being sold to the public; This fell badly on many reggaetoneros who assured that as long as the music has the rhythm of Reggaeton, it belongs to this genre.
Before the dispute between the defenders of reggaeton and the producer, Vico C intervened to say that they all had consistent points of view, however, he pointed out that the most important thing was that they begin to eliminate the non-edifying content of this genre.
Furthermore, Vico C advocated for those artists with negative lyrics; he explained that the intention of these exponents is not to denigrate, but to fulfill their dreams of being singers.
On one occasion, Vico C gave an interview to La Mega 97.9 and said that despite the musical differences he had with Bad Bunny, he would do a duet with him if the song was social or spiritual.
Vico C, known as the “rap philosopher” once assured that his songs were essentially Christian, he said this in an interview with EJ Tamara.
On the other hand, the interpreter previously explained that he considers his songs to be Christian since they speak of love and forgiveness, actions that characterize Jesus.
Despite his many mistakes that have led him to drug addiction and prison, Vico C has been a Christian for more than 27 years.
