CHRISTIANNEWS.COM. – The Brazilian singer Berg Lima revealed in an interview with the Cearabelha channel, the real reasons that made him return to secular music and why he decided to abandon Christian music.
The former singer of the band Calcinha Preta, says he was frustrated with what he built financially when he lived off Christian music.
“I lived 10 years in a religious ideology that only made me suffer, only made me fall,” he says.

«The evangelical world does not recognize that I am a professional singer, that I have to pay my bills,” he said. The singer said that he will continue to worship God, but that he is a professional and he needs to be paid for it.
“I’m a worshiper, but wait, what’s my profession? What did I do with my life? So I made the decision not to continue living from this job, and now I decided to live from my job (secular music),” he explained. Berg Lima who highlighted that he returned to secular music, and that he has already received three proposals, so as not to earn more than two thousand dollars. But he did not accept.
The singer said that he will return to the secular in a different way, that he will continue his career with country music.
