«Lifemark» is the name of the new production by the filmmakers, who have already made reference films for Christians such as “Fireproof” and “War Room”.
“Lifemark” has a pro-life message, and its plot tells the story of an 18-year-old boy who is thrown into a lot of confusion and chaos when his birth mother wants to meet him.”
The film grossed $2 million on its opening weekend.
In addition, the film stands out for having the production and performance of the Christian actor Kirk Cameron.
The Kendrick brothers recounted that they added 10 minutes to the film to show God’s love for creation.
“We walk through the biblical basis of life and God knows us even in the womb. And then we go through a Gospel presentation at the end,” he said. cameron.
The team had planned to release the film in 2021, however, the pandemic delayed its production.
However, for the filmmakers, this film comes at an ideal time, since just a few months ago, the Supreme Court of the United States struck down the ruling in the case of Roe v. Wade who legalized abortion throughout the United States for decades.
