. New York Christian singer Ingrid Rosario surprises with her testimony behind the song «The power of your love» which he shared through a worship concert with the Miel San Marcos family with a Live Church at home on social networks.
Ingrid said during her speech that despite not deserving full credit for the song, this is in itself her testimony of life.
“The power of your love was a major theme during my dad’s deathbed. In the midst of a painful process, when he even doubted his father’s salvation.
“The power of your love” means a special theme. When I started singing to my dad the verse of: «I come to you Lord, change me, renew me, by the grace I found in you now I know that the weaknesses in me will vanish by the power of your love...while he was dying; I asked the Lord if he was going to save him; and he answered me «He is mine», do not fear that he belongs to me».
Ingrid tells that her father days before had given his heart to Jesus Christ through a phone call with his father-in-law.
«I sang that to him while he was dying and it was something that we were living with the lyrics of the song. This song is a promise from God to our life, to our family. While I sang my dad to him, he was in that transition going into the presence of God, he was covered by his grace and his lovehe added.
The psalmist calls through this testimony for all of us to ask for God’s coverage in the midst of any circumstance.
At the same time, he asks us to reflect on the journey and the priorities of life that we have, to see what place we are giving to God.. It’s not the money or what we eat; What we wear or what we own is important. Our priority must be and be God because he fills everything.
