THE SCIENTIFIC DEATH OF JESUS
At the age of 33, Jesus was sentenced to death and sent to the cross, the “worst” death of the time.
Only the worst criminals died like Jesus. And with Jesus it was even worse, because not all criminals sentenced to that punishment received nails in their limbs.
Yes, they were nails, and big ones! Each was 15 to 20 cm, with a 6 cm tip. and the other pointed end. They were nailed to his wrists and feet.
Jesus had to force all the muscles of his back, for having his hands nailed, to be able to breathe because he was losing all the air in his lungs.
In this way he was forced to lean on the nail stuck in his feet that was still bigger than the one in his hands, because they nailed both feet together.
And since his feet wouldn’t last long without tearing too, Jesus was forced to alternate that “cycle” just to catch his breath.
Jesus endured that situation for a little over 3 hours. Yes, more than 3 hours! Long time, right? A few minutes before he died, Jesus was no longer bleeding. He just got water coming out of his cuts and wounds. When we imagine him wounded, we imagine mere wounds, but no. His were real holes, holes made in his body. He had no more blood to bleed, therefore, water came out.
The human body is made up of approximately 3.5 liters of blood (in an adult). Jesus shed 3.5 liters of blood; he had three huge nails driven into his limbs; a crown of thorns on his head (in the form of a helmet) and also a Roman soldier stuck a spear in his chest.
All this without mentioning the humiliation that he suffered after having carried his own cross for almost two kilometers, while the crowd spat on his face and threw stones at him (the cross weighed about 30 kilos, only at the top, in which they nailed his hands).
All this happened Jesus, just so that you have free access to God. So that you have all your sins washed away.” All of them without exception! Do not ignore this situation.
HE DIED FOR YOU!
Do not think that He died only for others, for those who go to church or for those monks, priests, pastors, bishops, etc.
