The song talks about the departure of his father into the arms of the Lord, and about the moment in which he received the news while driving his taxi in Managua, Nicaragua.
The Nicaraguan singer says that at the age of 11 he lost his mother, because of this, his father made great efforts to lead him on a good path until he gave himself to the Lord.
William He was born in the department of León, however, he lived in the capital of Nicaragua (Managua), there he worked as a bus driver, and in the terminals his friends, amazed by his gift for singing, paid him to interpret songs.
He earned the pseudonym “Caramelo” because when he drove the buses he sold flavorings and his favorite was the one with the smell of caramel.
The Christian interpreter today is 46 years old and 21 of them since he became a Christian; His daughter, Eloísa Arteaga, follows in his footsteps since she is a Christian singer. The interpreter already has a recorded song called “I am a miracle.”
Caramelo is still a taxi driver, but he also continues to put his musical talent at the service of the Lord.
