CHRISTIANNOTICE.COM.- Surely you have heard someone preach or say: “Not even the leaves of the trees move if it is not the will of God”, In the churches this has been preached as if it were the word of God, on one occasion he I asked a pastor who was preaching this phrase in church and he almost had a stroke, because he told me he didn’t know where it was, but it was there in the Bible, which told me he was just repeating what everyone else says.
If you read the novel by Miguel de Cervantes Don Quijote of La ManchaYou will remember that he said:
“Entrust it to God, Sancho,” said don Quixote, “that everything will be done well, and perhaps better than you think; that the leaf on the tree does not move without the will of God.
The ingenious knight Don Quixote de la Mancha, chapter 3.
The text originally comes from the Koran:
For He holds the keys to the unknown; no one knows them except Him. And He knows everything that is on the land and in the sea. And not a leaf falls without Him knowing it; nor is there a single grain in the darkness of the earth, nor is there anything wet or dry that is not recorded in a Manifestly Clear Book.
Al-Anam 6 : 60
Why do so many people say it’s in the Bible?
Because the phrase has become a popular saying and because there are texts that relate that God is in control of all things, as mentioned in the following texts.
My embryo saw your eyes,
And in your book all those things were written
which were later formed,
without missing one of themPsalm 139.16.
“He made all the peoples of one, so that they would populate the whole earth, having determined the previously established times and the exact places where they would dwell”, Acts 17.26.
“For in him we live and move and have our being”, Acts 17.28.
The apostle Paul explained to the people of Athens, especially the Epicurean philosophers, that God is the Creator of all things and that we move by him.
The God who made the world and all things in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made by human hands, nor is he honored by the hands of men, as if he needed something; for he it is who gives to all life and breath and all things, Acts 17: 24-25.
So when someone says that “no leaf falls from a tree without God allowing it”, they are literally saying what the Bible does not say, but what the Koran says, and my apologies for being so radical on this, but there are things who go out preaching in church and attribute it to God saying so, please, let us not put words in God’s mouth that he has not said, like those idiocies of false prophets that God told me, they deceive people, they manipulate the word of God and lead many unwary believers astray from the truth.
Here in my country there is a company that says: If it does not appear in the yellow pages it does not exist, I would say that If it doesn’t appear in the Bible, God didn’t say it. .
Let us learn from the brothers in Thessalonica:
And these were nobler than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with all eagerness, searching the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so, Acts 17: 11.
