THE TWO WOLVES

An old chief of a tribe was having a talk with his grandchildren about life.

he told them:
“A big fight is going on inside me!… It’s between two wolves!

“One of the wolves is evil, fear, anger, envy, pain, resentment, greed, arrogance, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, pride, egomania, competition, superiority.

“The other is Kindness, Joy, Peace, Love, Hope, Serenity, Humility, Gentleness, Generosity, Benevolence, Friendship, Empathy, Truth, Compassion and Faith.

This same fight is going on within you and within all beings on earth.

They thought about it for a minute and one of the children asked his grandfather:
“And which of the wolves do you think will win?”

The old chief replied, simply…
“The one you feed.”
