COSTA RICA. – The Legendarios group joined in prayer the international movement that is praying for the healing of psalmist Julio Melgar, who He has been fighting pancreatic cancer for two years.
The movement has made a call for the more than 13,000 members who are around the world to join for 13 days, at 1:00 p.m. to pray for 13 minutes for the health of Julio Melgar. In Costa Rica there are two thousand members. The prayer started on March 20 and will last until April 3.
“As a movement we have always believed in the power of prayer, we know
that God hears everyone’s cry and united we can send a signal to heaven asking for a miracle for the life of Julio”, indicated Pastor Iván Vindas, director of Legendarios Costa Rica and pastor of the Vision Impact Church.
Julio Melgar is a Guatemalan singer with more than 30 years of career. During this time he has toured the world, filling thousands of people with blessings at his concerts. Among his best-known songs are “You are here”, “I am no longer a slave” and “Admirable”.
“Julio has blessed thousands of people with his music. We know that as legendaries we have an obligation to pray and believe when one of our pack is affected by a process. Every day we are uniting either through the radio (Impact 91.1 FM) or through our digital channels of the Impact Vision Church or personal networks,” said Vindas.
“People pray for him and for the unity of the body of Christ. He always dreamed of the unity of the body of Christ and although he did not think that the price he would pay for that would be sicknessaffirms that his situation shows what faith can do”, assured Bani Muñoz.
