.- The new Netflix series, The Squid Game, has generated all kinds of reactions, from fans who think it’s wonderful, to others who define it as a macabre, sadistic and diabolical series.
The Squid Game is a 9-part South Korean production directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk. The series contains a plot full of violence, death, symbolism and very explicit sadism. It was released on September 17 and since then it has become number 1 on Netflix, reports Infobae.
A Christian user on Facebook expressed his rejection of the South Korean production, stating that pIt removes the naturalization of violence and dehumanization.
“Many young people and adolescents have seen it and they are amused by each episode. However, the naturalization of violence is evident in the midst of a generation that grows up without principles or values, “she explained.
He also added that: “If you are amused by the tragic death of a person in a television series, what will you feel when a friend, relative or someone you love dies? Without realizing it, you are gradually dehumanizing yourself to such a degree that you do not feel love or mercy.
Lastly, he cited the Bible to reaffirm his critical thinking of the series. “There will be so much evil that the love of many will grow cold, (Matthew 24:12).”

«Everything written is very well said. It’s the goal to make us numb to things that should be so sensitive, to see people die like that. Incredible that people applaud and say that it is a great series, “said Johanna Carolina.
Likewise, Claudia Martínez assured that: «It is incredible that this publication amuses me so much. How sad and unfortunate the times we live in. Very true what the Bible says, (although many people do not like it), that in recent times evil will multiply and the love of many will grow cold.
For her part, Lydia Mora wrote that: «Let’s not be so extremist. Some, if I wanted to see them die, did not like them, but I was not amused by death. However, if we can say that this is life today, a constant power game, fighting even against friends to get what you want.
«Oh yeah. It is a series. There are worse movies or series like those about drug dealers and they also kill. If you don’t like it, don’t watch it,” said Jhoany Alonso.
