GUATEMALA. – The singer and pastor Danilo Montero shared an electronic link not only to ask for prayer but also a donation to help his colleague, Julio Melga who suffers from cancer, however, there were followers of Montero’s page who expressed themselves badly for this request so that others had to speak out against this.

Julio Melgar has had to suspend new concerts due to his health condition. The author of the well-known song “I believe in you”, has been fighting for his health for more than a year, he became ill in October 2017.
His friends and also pastors have come together to organize an event next Monday, March 11, at the Tiempos de Gloria church in Guatemala. The event will be to worship God and pray for Julio Melgar’s health.
The event entitled “United with Julio Melgar: a night of worship and prayer” will include the participation of ministers such as Miel San Marcos, Danilo Montero, Marco Barrientos, Kike Pavón, Juan Carlos Alvarado, Redimi2, Bani Muñoz and Daniel Calvetti.
